OpenAI’s Latest Announcement on Budget-Friendly AI Models
OpenAI has reduced the cost of its GPT-3.5 Turbo model by up to 50% for some services and introduced an enhanced version, GPT-3.5 Turbo 0125. They're also launching the more advanced GPT-4 Turbo for app and service developers. Additionally, OpenAI has improved and made their embedding models more affordable. These models, priced based on text volume processed in 'tokens,' vary in cost, depending on the chosen model and usage.
The Latest Embedding Models
OpenAI has introduced new embedding models and API usage management tools as part of their recent updates.
Text-embedding-3-small: A smaller and highly efficient text-embedding model that offers improved performance over the previous generation model, text-embedding-ada-002.
Text-embedding-3-large: A larger and more powerful text-embedding model that can create embeddings with up to 3072 dimensions, capturing more semantic information and improving accuracy.

Midjourney's Remix Feature: Light, Color, and Different Angles
Remix mode in midjourney is your creative playground to experiment and explore. It allows you to modify various elements of your project, including prompts, parameters, model versions, and even aspect ratios. Remix will take the general composition of your starting image and use it as part of the new Job.
You can follow these steps to create a series of remixes originating from a single image.
Step 1: Generate an image by using a simple prompt. Here is a sample prompt that we used to create image on midjourney.
“35mm closeup of a stylish man standing outside of a diner. The man is wearing a tropical print shirt with goggles. The diner is called "HOPPERS". Located in island city. —ar 16:9 —style raw —v 6.0”.
Step 2: Use the command “/prefer remix“ to activate the feature in your midjourney.
Step 3: Click the variations tab (subtle / strong, whichever you want) and modify your prompt in the provided section.
Step 4: Click submit and you will have the remixed image as your result.
The final remixed images using above as the base prompt are:

Lumiere AI by Google: Text-to-Video Generation
Lumiere is a groundbreaking text-to-video model using a Space-Time U-Net architecture to create realistic, motion-rich videos in a single pass. This contrasts with traditional methods that struggle with temporal consistency. Lumiere excels in tasks like image-to-video conversion, video editing, and stylized generation, showcasing state-of-the-art results.
Key Features
It is a text-to-video diffusion model.
Uses a unique “Space-Time U-Net Architecture” to create the entire video in a single process.
It excels in motion intensity, temporal consistency, and overall video quality.
Supports creative video features like,
Inpainting (filling in missing parts)
Cinemagraphs (still photos with minor repeated movements)
Stylized video generation (videos in the target style)
The model is not yet available for testing, but it demonstrates Google's capability to develop an AI video platform that is comparable to, and competes with, other existing models in the field. The introduction of Lumiere marks a significant step forward in the development of text-to-video generation models. Read More...
How does Lumiere differ from other AI video generation models?
Lumiere, a text-to-video diffusion model developed by Google, compares favorably to other AI video generation models in terms of motion magnitude, temporal consistency, and overall quality. Some key comparisons include:
Pika: Lumiere outperforms Pika in terms of motion magnitude and temporal consistency.
Runway: Lumiere generates 80 frames compared to 25 frames from Stable Video Diffusion, and it creates the appearance of seamless motion.
Stability AI: Lumiere outperforms Stability AI in terms of motion magnitude, temporal consistency, and overall quality.
ImagenVideo: Lumiere also outperforms ImagenVideo in terms of motion magnitude, temporal consistency, and overall quality.
